This work began with a simple image from a dream:
the wings of a butterfly, hovering without a body.

The form is reconstructed digitally, but treated as if it were a found object — a specimen that exists somewhere between biology and artifact. It resembles a creature, yet also feels mechanical, almost ceremonial.

Across different landscapes — rocks, open fields, artificial lights — the butterfly appears repeatedly, like an apparition or a memory that refuses to disappear.

The work explores the moment when an object stops being an object and begins to feel alive.

The butterfly is not meant to represent a real species.
It is closer to a trace — something seen briefly, remembered imperfectly, and reconstructed afterward.
